4-year-old lessons
4-year-old wisdom

So, while putting my son to bed a few nights ago, we got onto the subject of volcanoes (I have no idea how):
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Sayeth he: "I don't like volcanoes!"
Me: "Oh, really? Why not?"
He: "'Cause that orange stuff gets in my hair."
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Yea, that would kinda suck.
'Nuff said.

Another parking rant
So, if you haven't read it, please refer to my post on Feb. 22.
OK, this is the same guy, same side of the street. Now he has actually picked up the metal barrier and moved it onto the sidewalk so he can park right outside the building. I need to stay after hours and see if he puts that barrier back out in the street when he leaves in the evening. That would be awesome!
BAH-hahahah!!!

More parking hi-jinks
This is a friend of mine's car. Yes, she actually parked and left it like this. I guess she was in a hurry. At least she came back shortly after and fixed it. That's more than I can say about the other knuckleheads that park out here.
ICHC Las Vegas contest
So, I entered this poker-themed lolcat contest at ICHC.
You can view my entry here.
I could win a trip for two to Las Vegas. So, go there and vote for it. Now. You vote by clicking on the cheeseburgers above the image. Go on now.

It's still raining and I'm thinking about music.
This is me on my way to the oral surgeon (yay). It was right after this that I had an interesting thought;
I love music and at just about any time, if I want to listen to music, I can. What occurred to me at this point was that, say, 150 years ago your average Joe rarely got to hear music. God, we're spoiled.
Now, I'm gunna go listen to some music.
Yes, it's raining.
This is on South Liberty Street between Tulane and Gravier. This is Tulane's delivery and receiving area for the entire downtown campus.
Now see that silver-blue car? There is not supposed to be any parking on that side of the street but I got to watch as he pulled up until the orange cone was leaning over. Then he gets out and moves the cone even more, gets back in his car and pulls up to where we see him now. Wonderful. I hope a giant delivery truck takes out his mirror 'cause I know NOPD or TUPD aren't gunna do anything.
